my dude, josh, asked me to take a stab at drawing some characters for a comic book he is working on. its been a while since i really tried to draw/redraw the same characters in different poses that actually look similar. that try to tell some sort of story. i suck at drawing ladies. its been terribly frustrating actually. yet fun at the same time. well, i guess we'll see how he feels about these...

my friend hilary is taking a portfolio class right now, and asked if she could see mine. well... i didnt have one. i havent made a reel or portfolio since my senior year in college. but it seemed like an interesting exercise, so i looked through some stuff from the last couple of years and picked out my favorite pieces. if i had to make an illustration/design portfolio, i think it would look something like this.
